• 19 years of leadership experience in a wide spectrum of shipping segments viz. Container Shipping, Tankers and Bulkers

• From the head office in Singapore, managed a geographically dispersed team located in the offices at Dubai, Mumbai, Bangkok, Jakarta, KL, HCM City & Shanghai 

• Led as ED - Commercial, revenue S$550 M p.a.

• Grew from scratch a fleet of tankers & bulkers - this acted as a catalyst for the company to go public  

Ports & Industrial Estates 

• Led as President Director a greenfield multipurpose port, a JV in the greater Jakarta area

• Secured 65-years’ concession from the Govt. of Indonesia 

• EBITDA grew @ 50% CAGR, enabling dividend declaration just 3 years after the start of this greenfield port

• Increased the occupancy of the industrial estate

• Led as VP - Overseas Terminals

• Negotiated a $100M divestment with a potential 40% gain for a port investment in China 

Energy Terminals 

• Led as VP - Energy Terminals, ~ 3 Million m3 of clean & dirty petroleum storage, and development of an LNG Bunkering Terminal  and storage of future fuels 

• Formulated a holistic energy sea terminal strategy in Singapore’s transition to cleaner maritime fuels and green hydrogen importation for de-carbonizing the power generation sector

• Forged collaborations in establishing an ammonia-fired power plant for green electricity and an ammonia bunkering terminal

Consulting

• Helped shape the commercial strategy of DP World's terminal in South East Asia, enabling it to attract additional liner services

• Collaborated with a Big 3 on assessing the need for an industrial estate to develop its private port

• Assisting a port owner to develop a port centric ecosystem for liquid cargo for higher occupancy of its  industrial estate 

• Collaborated with a Big 4 consulting arm to craft the growth strategy for a South Asian shipping group
